Euphoria, Toxicity and Spiking
Dose bottled water to create repeat customers while keeping toxicity below the fatal range.

Direct drug sales and spiked water use different outcome tables. Keep those contexts separate and verify thresholds on your build before relying on them.
How Euphoria creates returns
A customer buying an Euphoria-adding item may return at the start of the next day asking for it again. Becoming an addict once does not create unlimited returns. Medical suppliers do not normally become or create returning customers.
| Source | Reported contribution |
|---|---|
| Dream Dust | 1 Euphoria per μl; vial volume 1200–1599μl |
| Phanta | 10 Euphoria and 2 Toxicity per μl; pill volume 300–399μl |
Outcome bands are 0–749, 750–999, 1000–1599, 1600–2199 and 2200+. The tables below distinguish direct-drug and spiked-water outcomes.
Spiking water
Players report adding Phanta or Dream Dust to a water bottle to create a repeat-sale setup. This is a version-sensitive tactic. Customer detection, water testing, toxicity, and the bottle's label interact; never assume that a buyer accepts incorrectly labelled or unsafe water.
Toxicity and recovery
- Record the base item, dose, customer type, day, and resulting Euphoria/Toxicity.
- Keep a clean bottle for ordinary sales and do not mix experimental doses into core stock.
- Watch for complaints, refunds, poisoning reports, and reputation loss after the sale.
- Separate the Addiction perks from customer Euphoria: they are related themes but different systems.
Distinguish the substances and injectors

| Item | In-game description |
|---|---|
| Oxymore Injector | Oxymore is a legal, but dangerous medication used to relieve severe pain and produce feelings of euphoria. Oxymore addiction and overdose are widespread due to over-prescription. |
| Nomore Injector | A non-addictive alternative to Oxymore for pain relief. Provides effective analgesia without the risk of dependence or overdose. This one is a prototype packaged in a repurposed injector. |
| Naloxgone Injector | Naloxgone is a emergency medication used to counter Oxymore overdose. |
| Phanta Pill | An extremely addictive, dangerous and cheap synthetic opioid drug used for treatment of severe pain. |
| Vial of "Dream Dust" | A cheap, euphoria inducing powder, created in the Lower Levels. Used as a brief escape from the harsh realities of Station life. |
Direct drug sale versus spiked-water return
Direct-drug outcomes distinguish complaints from addiction; spiked-water returns have a lower threshold. Keep item type with each probability.
| Euphoria | Direct drug result | Direct chance | Spiked-water return chance |
|---|---|---|---|
| 0–749 | Complaint | 32% | 0% |
| 750–999 | Complaint | 8% | 24% |
| 1000–1599 | Addict | 16% | 32% |
| 1600–2199 | Addict | 40% | 56% |
| 2200–above | Addict | 48% | 64% |
Toxicity and outcome changes
Phanta adds 2 Toxicity/μl and Zyanide 1.66 Toxicity/μl. At 0–749 there is no toxicity outcome; 750–999 has an almost-fatal base roll of 32%, and 1000+ a fatal base roll of 40%. Relevant Euphoria rolls can add to risk. One toxic item may change outcomes for other items in the same deal; do not assess each pill independently.
Almost-fatal outcomes can produce a refund request or note; refusal or a note can cost 7 faction reputation. Fatal outcomes can cost 17. Exact combined probabilities remain unverified.
Return identity and budget
Returning customers request the item responsible for Euphoria. For spiked water, they ask for a water bottle and use a generic returning-faction profile. Do not assume they retain every original visitor property or ignore water-quality checks.
The reported returning budget is the larger of 87 + 0.35 × day and 1.5 × item value + 3 × budget modifier × item value. The eligible item is the one with the highest Euphoria band; an equal band uses the first sold item. Medical suppliers are reported to be excluded. Those exact budget values are Community Reported with no specified build; no current-game probability simulator is implied.
Dosing and charity supplies
Adding narcotics can lower water purity across a grade boundary. Retest after dosing and transfer; the original label does not establish the new quality. Keep direct-drug and spiked-water tables separate.
Some returning customers have large budgets, but a universal three-times-water-budget rule is unverified. Budget and identity do not guarantee acceptance of contaminated water. Check dose, quality and toxicity.
During the Oxymore-addiction event, a Lower-level charity contact can provide free Naloxgone injectors. Giving them away can improve reputation; relabelling and selling them can harm it. Naloxgone, Oxymore, Nomore and Immunivax are different items; check names rather than color alone.
Len can become addicted without your first drug sale. See NPC Timeline for decisions. Your own abstinence uses different rules in Player Health.
