External Mods and Tools: Research Status
Keep vanilla mechanics separate from community utilities and version-specific Mods.
Evidence: Pending · Scope: External Demo/Playtest tools; compatibility untested · Source review: 2026-10-11
These external Mods and tools are separate from original game mechanics. Current-build compatibility is untested; check each repository’s release and requirements before installation.
Workflow and balance-changing Mods
| Project | Recorded purpose | Recorded version boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Warehouse Helper | Bulk storage operations, cell replacement and hiding tools | README targeted Demo 0.46D, IL2CPP, Windows x64 and MelonLoader |
| NewbieGift / The Honest Merchant | Changes starting resources and adds a recurring merchant | Public release was recorded; changes balance and has not been tested on this site’s Demo |
| ScavengingTweaks | Changes scavenging damage, attempts and drops | Playtest-targeted project; not a vanilla profit rule |
| Probably Assembled | PC-building/content extension | Recorded as source-only without a ready DLL/art package |
External tools are not in-game mechanics
- Module Optimization and Module Optimizer: outside-the-game planning utilities. Their formulas need independent verification.
- Save Editor and Probably Stolen Tools: editing/management tools. A cash or reputation value produced by an editor is not gameplay evidence.
- Modding reference and REST API prototype: developer resources, not player content guides.
- ZH OneClick: localization installer, not a new game system.
Compatibility evidence needed
Before installing, check the release, target game build, loader, removal procedure and save effects. Back up your save and test launch and functions. Download counts or stars alone do not establish compatibility or quality.
Wine, water, cages and rats are original-game systems; using them does not require the external projects above.
