Join the appraisal service and identify defective Immunivax before selling.

Compare each item with its matching in-game reference before submitting an appraisal. Fees and authenticity patterns can differ by build.
Appraisal service workflow
- Acquire the membership certificate and place it in the display case to signal the service to customers.
- Keep the magnifying glass and in-game appraisal guide accessible. Inspect the target and reference carefully to find differences before submitting.
- Complete as much of the comparison as possible. The reported fee scales with completion, so record the displayed result instead of assuming a fixed payout.
- Keep receipts and finished forms separate from sale stock. Store tools in the archive/file storage when not in use.

Appraisal Service
Some valuable items marked as [Appraisal Item] have complex price structures. Customers will visit the Store and use your appraisal service to determine the value of their item.
You will receive a base service fee for the appraisal, plus a bonus based on the precision of the appraisal. You will be able to pass appraisal examinations and receive a certification that will improve your base service fee and unlock new item types to appraise.
Mentor's Note: Visual Inspection
Certain items will be marked as inspectable using a Magnifying Glass. Use the Magnifying Glass on an inspectable item to open the Inspection Tray. If there's an issue with the item, you can select a reason at the bottom of the Inspection Tray UI to confront the client about it. If the item is counterfeit, one issue is enough to confront the client.
If you are right, the client will adjust the price. If you are wrong, you will lose Reputation and the client may take their business elsewhere.
Immunivax authentication
Compare the entire vial: IMMUNIVAX and CARMICHEAL PHARMACEUTICAL lettering, barcode, seven-digit serial, TMP text, indicator color and cracks. Orange, red or missing indicators can signal defects. Check the appraisal result before selling or injecting an unfamiliar variant.

If a tool goes missing
- Check archive/file storage and every container inventory.
- Review item discovery and phone/customer services for a recovery route.
- If a tool disappears, check whether it was moved, sold, consumed or lost on reload. Compare inventories before trying an older recovery workaround.
What is not established
The exact fee formula, full list of appraisal targets, every authentication pattern, and whether each tool can be reacquired are pending direct, version-stamped verification. Treat community numbers as reports, not guaranteed payouts.
Immunivax: four inspection zones
Inspect all four zones below; a single correct feature does not prove authenticity.

The product lettering is IMMUNIVAX; the company is CARMICHEAL PHARMACEUTICAL. Correct spelling alone is insufficient. Keep suspected vials separate until appraisal confirms the result.
Food Stamps and document comparison
For Food Stamps, compare the trademark badge and complete words with the in-game reference. Inspect the i in social and the a in program. Use the visual overlay for close comparisons.

Do not add every price modifier blindly; not all combinations are verified for the current build. Missing secondary branding in the first batch is normal.
More inspection checks
- Display the certificate for the appraisal-customer roll. Excess seller signs can use random slots first.
- Compare to the correct sample, not only a catalogue of known wrong examples.
- Check cigarette spelling before color overlays. Relabelling does not make a pack genuine.
- Chinese Immunivax indentation may differ because of localization. Do not apply that spacing rule to English text. Check missing barcode/serial and altered model text separately.
- Food Stamp overlays have a transparency slider. Inspect the logo, full words and difficult S/i/a letter shapes. Genuine stamps redeem at the ration station; labels do not make a fake valid.
- Mechanical hands and fuel/energy cartridges have their own condition checks. A translated punctuation tip is not a complete English defect matrix.
- Dr. Jackson can reportedly replace some sold certificates/tools; not every document is proven replaceable.
Random medical exchange output can contain counterfeit Immunivax. Inspect it after using the exchange.

Mentor's Note: Food Stamps
Food Stamps are part of a social program to help eligible Lower Level citizens and prevent civil unrest. Food Stamps can be redeemed and are used at the Commissary to buy Food. Food Stamps can carry various values. Since they can only be used to buy Food, they are often traded at a lower value for Credits. The Stamps are sometimes forged and sold to unsuspecting victims, who only find out after failing to redeem the Stamp.
