Purchase order
- Buy the machine that directly supports the selected route.
- Add one module that removes the current bottleneck, then measure output before buying a second copy.
- Keep spare energy cells and maintenance material; a machine that cannot run is dead capital.
- Record input, output, quality, energy, module, and day for every test.

Prices are baseline purchase values in Credits, before bargaining and reputation effects. Blank daily energy means a per-operation cost or a power requirement explained in the notes.
| Machine | Listed price | Base energy/day | Use and upgrade |
|---|---|---|---|
| Furnace | 200 | 8 | 2 inputs -> 1 ingot; Blast 3 -> 2; Junk Processing 6 junk -> 4 scrap |
| Moisture Farm | 225 | 4 | 1000ml Ghostwater per night; needs output container |
| Water Purifier | 300 | 5 | Converts contaminants; minimum residual concentration depends on Quality |
| Mirage Projector | 400 | 16 | Base +100 attractiveness for the following day; exact module scaling is unresolved |
| Alarm System | 150 | 4 | Chance to cancel theft; transmitter gives +1 chosen-faction reputation per night |
| Cryptographic Desequencer | 350 | 10 | 33 work/night; chipset plus card; required work 75/100/125/150 by access type |
| AgeWell | 350 | 24 | One additional aging day each night; not fermentation; Quality +125% adds another day |
| Bottle Printer | 100 | See notes | 450/750/2000ml: 4/6/11 energy per operation; upgrades cost 3 then 6 electronic parts |
| Fridge | 100 | 2 | Chill 5x2 and Freeze 3x2; overnight labels; up to 7 scrap and 7 electronic-part upgrades |
| Cleaner Robot | 250 | See notes | 4 energy/operation; 1 electronic part unlocks incineration at 8 energy/day |
| Aug Scanner | 200 | See notes | 25 energy per scan; double-click during customer interaction; no module slots |
| Recharger | 150 | See notes | Charges stored cells +3 energy/night or +6 after Wild upgrade; paid power required |
| PowerBloc | 200 | See notes | Adjacent cells and machine batteries +2 energy/night or +4 after Wild upgrade; excludes Recharger |
| Advanced Turbo Charger | 300 | 5 | 5 charge per night for 5 energy; at 15 charge, an extra operation uses normal inputs and power |
Furnace recipes and the Flux correction
| Mode | Input | Reported output purity |
|---|---|---|
| Normal | 2 scrap | Low |
| Normal | 1 scrap + 1 ore | Fair |
| Normal | 2 ore | High |
| Blast | 3 scrap | Low |
| Blast | 2 scrap + 1 ore | Fair |
| Blast | 1 scrap + 2 ore, or 3 ore | High |
Ingot values are 42 / 50 / 62 / 75 / 100 for Low / Fair / High / Very High / Perfect purity. Furnace Performance has no established production effect. Quality improves purity in whole 100% steps, with Blast ignoring the first +100%. Efficiency reduces the base 8-energy cost in 12.5% steps.
At +100% Quality, or +200% with Blast, Flux is not consumed and does not add its purity bonus to Quality. If your build behaves differently, compare Flux type, inputs, module totals and output before repeating the batch.
Keycard work and power
Cryptographic Desequencer work requirements are reported as 75 for Service/Supply, 100 for Engineering/Medical, 125 for Security, and 150 for Command. At 33 work/night, that means 3 / 4 / 4 / 5 nights respectively without Performance changes. Insert both a chipset and a suitable card; plan the card before accepting a locked crate.
Pay the night power bill to run Recharger and PowerBloc. Put cells inside the Recharger or touching PowerBloc; adjacency does not recharge cells inside a Recharger. Advanced Turbo Charger grants an extra run, not free inputs or machine power. Recharger recovery is approximately 3/6 and PowerBloc 2/4 depending on upgrades, but some setups restore only 2 per day. Check your device and next-day reading before budgeting.
Refrigeration and alarm exceptions
The Fridge adds Chilled (+20%), Frozen (+25%) or Ice Cold (+25%) to supported goods: drinks, rations, Spring water and ice cream, excluding wine and ordinary refillable water containers. Labels disappear after a night outside. Each scrap-metal expansion adds a row and +3 daily energy; electronic parts reduce cost by 2 to a minimum of 2.
Alarm does not guarantee complete theft prevention at a precise Performance percentage; theft can still occur at 104%. It supports Security, Black Market, Upper-levels and Revolution transmitters, with one effective transmitter per faction.

Cards, furnace upgrades and special modules
Card work requirements: Service/Supply 75, Engineering/Medical 100, Security 125, Command 150. Insert a reusable chipset and a blank disposable card to encode it. Encoded cards may open matching crates or satisfy an exchange recipe; the location name does not prove a playable destination.
Perfect purity is above Very High. Each whole +100% Quality improves purity, with Blast ignoring the first +100%. Flux provides an alternative increase rather than stacking with Quality. Early Efficiency can be cheaper than chasing high Quality; compare energy savings with output value.
